Game of Thrones is a show chock full of fantastic moments, blending the line between cinema and TV. So to celebrate the upcoming season 7, I have decided to countdown my favorite moments in the series. SPOILER ALERT.

NUMBER 10: The Death of Meryn Trant

One of the most despicable characters in the show, Meryn Trant, met his grizzly end at the hands of one of the best characters, Arya Stark. After seeing Meryn commit a series of awful acts, and making it on Arya's kill list, we were waiting for his death. And when it finally came, my god it was rewarding. After witnessing Meryn going into a brothel and asking for the youngest girl there, Arya waited for her chance. The next day, Arya herself went in and acted like she was there to "service" him, but she had something else in store for him up her skirt. A knife plunged into both of is his eyes before delivering a brilliant vengeance speech and slitting his throat

NUMBER 9: Tyrion Murdering His Father and Love of His Life

After Tyrion has been wrongly accused of murdering King Joffrey and imprisoned by his sister and father, it was the last straw for him. His brother decided to free him, not knowing it would lead to the death of his father. So Tyrion  made his way to his father, Tywins's, quarters, where he saw the love of his life, Shae, in Tywin's bed. So he strangled her with the necklace he had bought for her. He then grabbed a crossbow and went searching for his father, eventually finding in the middle of going to the toilet. After a brief, angry, conversation with the man who had caused him so much pain, tryion shot him in the stomach.

NUMBER 8: Tyrion's Trial

In this scene, we see some of the the best acting in a show that is already known for its fantastic acting. Cersei, Tyrion's sister, accuses him of killing her son, King Joffrey, and he gets carted off to a cell. After an excruciatingly long wait, his trial finally arrives. And what follows is the best speech of the entire show. Just watch.

NUMBER 7: The Mountain vs The Viper

Following Tyrion's demand for a trial by combat, Oberyn Martell asks to fight for him.

Season 7 Promo (Finally)

It has been a long period of silence. No news has been received from Westeros for far too long. But just last month, a trailer has been released. A trailer that raises many questions. A trailer you can watch by clicking here.

First of all, lets talk about Cersei breathing frost. To those not familiar with the show, you may just think this is because she's in a bit of a chilly place. However, to those well versed in the events of season 1-6, this sounds several alarms. Could this mean she will side with the unstoppable horde of the White Walkers? And if so, what could this mean for the cast of our favorite characters?

All we know so far is that we are in for a fantastic new season filled with epic battles, politics, some of the greatest characters on TV and quite a bit of drunken debauchery. So, get ready all you Game of Thrones fans. Be prepared for the war of Westeros

Season 6 Great Moments

Game of Thrones Season 6 had some of the best moments in the entire series thus far.
With the long awaited return of a certain "dead" uncle, the confirmation of who the hell Jon Snow's parents are and Daenerys finally setting sail for Westeros along with her 3 dragons and ever growing army, we are certainly in for a treat in Season 7. Whenever that bloody comes out.

The subject of just who Jon Snow's mother is has been theorized and talked about immensely, as it was one of the biggest mysteries of the entire series. Ever since Season 1, viewers have been madly trying to figure out who was Jon Snow's birth mother and why wouldn't his father, Ned Stark talk about her? But what we didn't know was that we should have been asking who the dad was as well.

When Bran Stark travelled back in time to watch his father back when he was still alive, he bare witness to his dad fighting Arthur Dayne, the greatest swordsman alive. After finally managing to beat him (when his friend, Howlan Reed stabbed Arthur in the back of the neck), Ned went running to save his sister (Lyanna Stark), who had been kidnapped by Rhaegar Targaryen. However, when he arrived at the tower she was in, his sister died in his arms. In a major plot twist, it turns out Lyanna and Rhaegar were actually lovers, and Jon Snow was their son.

This has huge implications. Firstly, this possibly makes Jon immune to fire. As we've seen with Daenerys  at numerous times in the series, Targaryens can be immune to flames. This also makes him Daenerys' nephew, as his father, Rhaegar was Dany's brother.

This also gives the possibility of Jon Snow riding one of the two remaining dragons without riders. Imagine seeing Dany, Jon and one other character riding into battle atop 3 dragons.

Now begins the long wait for season 7. Only another FIVE TO SIX GODDAMN MONTHS.
